Basic Membership allows members to be able to view and participate in general message boards as well as articles published by the organization. Members have access to ongoing events and are eligible to register for and attend classes both online and in person, as well as attend public events. Basic membership is open to anyone who is spiritually curious about paganism. This membership consists of the online community, the general public, and those with no specific affiliation with the organization. They may or may not be active in the community. Basic members may choose to change their status at anytime by upgrading to a Temple membership.

Temple Members are the supporting body of the organization. Temple Members will have access to: the member school, seminary (coming 2010) for ministerial training, discounted classes, member message boards, articles (not publicly published), free events & classes, private events, workshops and meetings (not open to other P.E.N. members).

Temple Members of P.E.N. are people of all traditions and backgrounds, who have made the decision to sponsor the organization's growth by providing a tax deductible contribution. Your donation will be used to provide classes, services and events. Temple Members help further our mission of building a community focused on spiritual growth by participating in events, classes and in the online community. In addition to this Temple Members may serve the community if they wish by participating in planning and advisory boards within the organization.
