Handfastings

Yes! We can perform the wedding you want for your special day. We offer services from civil style handfastings with a touch of pagan to full on ceremonial rituals. We work closely with the bride and groom to be to make this day all about celebrating their love and commitment for each other. As such we will help you design a ritual that reflects your individual tradition, style, and personality. We know how important this day is. To be able to be legally handfasted is a big deal to most pagans because it eliminates the need for extra money to be spent for extra clergy or a J.P. We have several ministers ordained under our church entity that can legally perform marriages within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Wiccaning ~ Baby-naming Ceremonies

Yes we can perform these too. Though you do not need a legally ordained minister to preform this rite we realize that sometimes it is easier to place this duty in someone else's hands, making things less stressful for the new baby's parents. Therefore we will happily perform a ceremony that fits your needs for this very special time in your lives. Rites of Passage

We are also willing to perform some of the rites of passage; coming of age, mother-to-be, change of life, croning, etc. We realize that there are many solitary people who are not part of a coven but still want to honor one of these special passages in life with an extra special ceremony. Hand Partings

Not as pleasant as handfastings but sometimes a necessary part of life. We will prepare and perform handparting ceremonies for those couples who have been handfasted and also for those couples who were civilly married. If you are getting divorced and would like to put some ceremonial closure to this time and your lives so that you can both move on freely and without ties then a handparting is what you are looking for. Passing over ~ Death Rites

We will happily work with someone who is terminally ill or with the family of someone who has already passed to put together a ceremony that commemorates and celebrates their life. As time has gone by and things have changed we recognize that there is an increasing need for Ministers to attend and perform the passing rites for people who follow a pagan path. Therefore we will, with great respect for the individual and to the family, preside over funerary rites for those of our path. Our hope is that they may find rest in the Summerlands and that they may be honored in death the same way they lived their life, as a pagan. Ritual Writing Services

The Pagan Education Network realizes that there are many times in a pagan’s life that standard rituals just won’t do. Handfasting, Wiccanings, and other rites of passage rituals are a great example of this. Because we understand how important these days are in your life and that not everyone is ritual writing savvy we have taken the guesswork out of it. At PEN we now offer ritual writing services for pagans who have need of rituals for those special times in life where something uniquely you is needed. We are here to customize to your ritual to reflect your personality and your needs.

Our experienced ritual writers will do all the footwork for you; they will research and create a ritual designed around your personal needs and desires. They will work hard to design and fit your ritual to the style and type of format you require. At PEN we take the time to communicate with you in order to decide what type of ritual would best suit your ideal outcome, then we make sure to add the elements specific to your traditional background.

Rites of Passage

These are the eight times or more in life that your spiritual path choice makes you uniquely your own individual, but that doesn’t mean you want to celebrate it without recognition. We work hard to make sure all that you need is incorporated into your ritual whether it be Handfasting, Wiccaning, Motherhood, Coming of Age, Priest/Priestess, Croning or many others. We can custom design any ritual to meet the needs of those participating in this celebration with you. From subtly pagan to full on ritual we can help you to create the perfect setting and mood for your special day. We will help you to understand why certain elements are so important to the rituals content and what made these rites of passage so important to our ancestors. We can also give you ideas and tips on making your special celebration an event to remember. We do require a minimum of six weeks in order to give us ample time to create a special custom ritual just for you.

Sabbat Rituals

Just like the rites of passage sometimes it is important to have an extra special sabbat ritual prepared for your solitary, group or events needs. We will happily assist you by taking the worries off of your shoulders. You can submit an outline to us and we will happily draw up a ritual based upon your specific needs and ideas. Please allow a minimum of at least four weeks before the time the ritual is needed. This will ensure that we have ample time to work out all of the fine details with you prior to your big Sabbat celebration.

Personal Life Celebrations

Sometimes there are times in life that are not marked by specific changes in the wheel of the year sense, but they deserve recognition just the same. These can be deeply personal for the pagan member involved. Some of these types of rituals include; celebration of life (for overcoming debilitating illnesses), grieving of ones who have passed, graduation (celebration of education and coming of age), change in life path, overcoming fears, moving to a new location, starting over and the list goes on. If you find yourself in need of rekindling your inner flame and recognizing something that has created a marked change in your life let us know. We love to write these deeply unique and personal rituals, which celebrate the human spirit! Please make sure to give us ample time to write this ritual for you.

Cost

Our cost is largely dependent on the specific job and how much work it entails. The average ritual takes 3-10 hours to write and has an estimated cost of $30- 110. Generally speaking, we charge $15 per hour of writing, researching and compiling. Please email us for specific quotes and a better idea of how much your specific ritual will cost. The more details you have for us the easier it is. A portion of the proceeds associated with our ritual writing services are given to the organization as a donation to help the organization support the pagan community.
